N3M was created in 2003 under the name Existence, bringing together players from three of the strongest Novalogic Black Hawk Down squads of the era: The Killing Alliance, Genome Soldiers and Belligerent Truculent Soldiers. Each brought a different competitive identity to the new team.

With Ranger, Mymic, Scoop and Rift joining the roster, Existence entered Novalogic's Joint Operations competitive scene. The team finished its run with a 20–2 record, held the #1 position on both TWL ladders and captured two tournaments, including the Gaming Freaks event sponsored by Nvidia and Novalogic. Ducked was named tournament MVP.

A NEW IDENTITY
TEAM .N3M. IS BORN
As the Novalogic competitive community declined, Existence moved toward larger mainstream games. The team changed its name to Team .N3M. to leave the old Nova identity behind, build a new reputation and pursue the goal of becoming a multi-game organization.

That multi-game goal took shape quickly. Friends from the Novalogic community who had moved to Counter-Strike: Source as Beanie Babys joined under the N3M name and competed successfully in CAL and CEVO for multiple years.

BATTLEFIELD 2
INTO A BIGGER ARENA

N3M entered Battlefield 2 and the Cyberathlete League's 8v8 and 12v12 competition. After a positive first season, N3M merged with tEAm cAkE before CAL Season 2, adding Arc, RedEye and DeadEye. The Battlefield squad went on to compete across multiple seasons and capture championships in TWL and the Point of Existence 2 modification.

A SHORT, SUCCESSFUL RUN
$3,440 WINNINGS
After early roster changes, N3M settled into a strong Battlefield 2142 lineup and competed across CAL, TGL, TWL and AGC. The run produced a 69–17 overall record, first place on the AGC 8v8 ladder and $3,440 in documented tournament winnings.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars delivered two more championship seasons: TGL Season 1 and CAL Season 2. N3M also competed in Call of Duty 4 and World at War, with the COD:WAW team reaching #1 on the TWL CTF ladder.

The CS team led by Whoyadaddy returned to N3M for Battlefield Bad Company 2's Battle for PAX, while Ruthy led the main team in TGL and TWL. The recovered awards archive records N3M taking first in the BC2 TWL 4v4 Tournament in 2011.
